They are already spreading that weirdness that China created COVID in a lab and deployed it deliberately yada yada.
Shortly after Trump won, a book came out from one of the Clinton staffers. There’s a section that describes how there was a meeting before Clinton’s loss speech and they literally decided within minutes, with no evidence at all, to blame the loss on Russia. It was a mixture of Clinton’s arrogance not wanting to believe she actually lost legitimately, an effort to cover up the DNC’s shennanigans during the primaries, and an attempt to stop people questioning Clinton’s inadequacy as a candidate.
And Clinton was already using Russia as the boogeyman behind Trump in an attempt to deflect attention away from her own ties with Russia, through the Clinton foundation, her personal investements, and her record as a Secretary.
The entire US policy of the last 6 years regarding Russia and Julian Assange has been based on that moment of pettiness.
