It was talking less specifically about women being free of financial pressure and more about how, since time isn’t so ruthlessly commodified, everybody enjoys it a little more, since there’s no pressure to rush and get it over with.

Ngl I really hate how often that study is quoted in communist circles since it feels like biased cherrypicking. It’s not the most rigorous or scientific study and most importantly, I don’t believe anybody ever tried to replicate the study
I really hope most people get that and are only citing it for light hearted humor and not taking it as a serious piece of scientific evidence
Man this speaks to me a lot. I almost always feel the time pressure with sex, especially after we finish. It’s like there’s a voice in me going “get up and get back to work before you have to live on the street” even when it’s the middle of the night and there is literally nothing better for me to be doing. It’s damn sad.
