I’ve read this entire thread, and except Maupin, who don’t look like a socialchauvinist, no names, no organizations, nothing concrete is mentioned, just very nebulous wholesale condemnation talk mostly from people who can’t even recognize class characteristics of something even if it smacked them right in the gob.

It really is just a twitter thing. The biggest “patsoc” Caleb Maupin is as youve seen not chauvinist at all, very committed to communism and antiimperialism. He has been slandered a lot by Vaush type liberals, who are actual proimperialist socialchauvinists. My guess is some twitter weirdos took the slander seriously and now LARP as “proud patsocs” online. Maupin doesnt even call himself “patsoc”.

Idk, I don’t really care for what I’ve seen from Maupin, but I really don’t know enough to criticize him with any actual knowledge.
I really just meant to hate on the account I posted, but it seems to have sparked a much broader discussion.
