Bruh there is literally a popular media character called Captain America.

If you were trying to satirically come up with the main character of a state propaganda show, a name like that would probably come to mind. For satire.

Imagine how US Libs would react if a superhero called Captain China started getting really popular.

I’m not disagreeing, i meant it as “the bar is very low”. As in “at least he really bashed some nazis”, which in last two months seem to be unreachable by real life westerners and their media especially…

I fully expect proukrainian propaganda to eventually find its way to comics too in this or that form.

There was a character called “Baby Killer” a few years ago in Marvel. He was a Polish general in a cloned teenage body, and his power was being violent and shooting guns. So you know, not really out there in terms of plausibility.

            Polish general

I had to google that. Old style female surname (male style would be Zamorski, meaning literally “Oversea”), not a polish first name - Mikhail is russian version, or possibly… ukrainian, especially that this character was introduced in 2014, rather famous for some massacres in that country.

I half expected it to be jab at general Jaruzelski, but it seems not to be, and we don’t actually had any real bad generals lately. Closest one would be field-bishop (yes that’s a real general rank in Poland) Sławoj Leszek “Flaszka”* Głódź, but he wouldn’t be Baby “Killer”, since he was pedophile, also famous for incredible even for a catholic bishop feats of coruption.

*Nickname meaning literally “The Bottle” since his drinking feats and parties were equally awesome to corruption
