The series of supposed aggression by Iran that has gone on in recent months has seemed convenient for sure. Just so happened to come on the heels of the failed coup in Venezula and as talk with NK have “progressed” (lots of stops and starts of course). Bolton and Pompeo both seem to be chomping at the bit to start something with Iran.

In so far as this particular case, I’d say there’s a possibility. There’s always a possibility that the US is somehow involved considering most wars its been involved in have start with lies (ie: WMDs in Iraq, Gulf of Tonkin, etc). Wouldn’t be terribly surprised if the US were playing both sides here just because its another thing that its done in the past.

This also happened to coincide with an upcoming bill in Congress that would pull the US out of the conflict.

Don’t forget about the chances that Isn’treal was behind the attack. Bolton was all about war with Iran in defense of Isn’treal and their “democracy.” Trump is, arguably ““anti-war,”” and since Bolton was fired; There went Israel’s chance’s at getting the US involved in another needless war. So what happens a couple days after his firing? The US’s Second ““Greatest Ally,”” The totally not oppressive, Peaceful Kingdom of Islamic Extremism of Saudi Arabia, gets attacked and the attack is blamed on Yemen, which in turn is backed by Iran; so therefor it was totally Iran.

Yep, we’ll have to see after things settle, but it could easily be a gulf of tonkin type thing.
