Yeah I’m not sure if attempting to cancel leftists like this is the way to go. Unless you’re certain they’re hellbent on a socially reactionary agenda you could just reach out to them, express your critiques and try to sway their stance on this issue. More often than not educated leftists are open to questioning the patriarchy even if they haven’t overcome that hurdle.
And keep in mind you will come across a LOT of working-class socially reactionary leftists in any movement that grows big enough to actually be able to take power. You have to try to change their views working in a top-down approach.
