So, comrades, I learned that, apparently, lemmygrad is blocked from other pretty popular but liberal (liberals block others, lol) instances and I don’t quite understand how that works.
I can’t see posts that were made from other instances? I’m using Jerboa and have an account on lemmygrad and I can see posts from lemmy.ml, but, I guess, I can’t view even non-political posts like memes from instances that blocked lemmygrad?

Thanks for clarifying!
I thought they would get notifications about our posts in neutral instances. :(

Thank you for the response! Pretty new to this platform, but I’ll get there. I created lemmy.world account to see global content, but I will be more active here for sure.
Unrelated, but idk where else to put it. So, I’m not able to see lemmy.world from lemmygrad. It says on both lemmy.world and lemmygrad that they both recognize each other yet I am not able to see posts from lemmy.world through lemmygrad, prompting me to create another account for lemmy.world. I can access lemmygrad through lemmy.world alright, but not the other way around. Just wondering what is up.
Are any of their communities federated with lemmygrad? Individual communities on other instances don’t show up in All unless at least one person on your instance subscribes to it.
At all? When I type in the URL to some of the other communities on lemmy.world in lemmygrad, I get hit with a 404 page.
The UX for finding communities in lemmy is currently hot garbage. Go to the search page and search !communityname@lemmy.world and you should find it.
Holy hell, tysm.
I ended up going to a community url on a different instance then copying the end part of the community on lemmy.ml instance then I was able to subscribe to it from there, bypassing the search feature.
Unfortunately if you are on an instance that bans lemmygrad you can’t access communities from lemmygrad this way.
Apparently, you don’t even need to do that
