The EFF is an ML party and he is the president. He says at the end of the interview that he wishes for a democratic victory, but they will defend themselves by any means necessary. Earlier in the interview he predicts the energy crisis in SA will evolve into a blackout resulting in a spontaneous and leaderless revolution. He makes a suggestion that the ruling ANC party should resign and submit themselves to the EFF platform.
IDK perhaps this isn’t such a bad position for the Communists. The SA state is semi-decolonized, as in the indigenous have political majority, so he probably views the elections as a fairly legitimate place to collect a mandate (and avoid international reaction).
Is this actually going to happen or is this some politician grandstanding? cause if so holy based
