On one hand I was thinking of Mujahideen which I don’t associate with developed communities. But on the other hand I really don’t know what it’s really like 90% of the time and I’m probably still casually affected by the racist/Orientalist imperial mindset of the order I supposedly stand against. The brainwashing goes deep 🤷♂️
From my experience, a lot of those “farmers” in the middle east tend to be quite educated.
