The neoliberal is slandering Luna because she stated that the CIA often uses LGBT rights as an excuse or cover to attack socialism or infiltrate the movement and destroy it.
What she said is objectively true. We can support LGBT and women’s rights and at the same time recognize that the imperialists absolutely use rainbow- and pink-washing as vehicles to destabilize countries and foment color revolutions. They are completely disingenuous about these issues, they do not actually give a shit and just weaponize them against any government which is inconvenient for them.
All it takes is to look at who the US allies itself with, like Saudi Arabia and the Gulf monarchies, to understand how full of shit they are on this.
Communists who truly care about social progress and liberation of all oppressed groups recognize that the primary obstacle standing in the way of this is capitalist imperialism. If left to flourish and prosper in peace without being destabilized and attacked or plundered and impoverished by neoliberalism, then countries can develop their own non-astroturfed movements that over time can make a real change.
