My ancestor literally worked, fought and died so that I can worry about stuff like my hoodie being shit.

Go ask my dead broke grandpa if he wants me to work in a factory for 12 hours a day while being unable to support my family if that means I look tough to losers on the internet.

Also, that hasn’t gone away for a lot of people. There are people that work two or more shit jobs to survive. It’s just that the people that post these sorts of memes are privileged enough not to know any.

For real. I come from a family of poverty and my dad made it out sort of. He did it all for me and my brother so that we don’t have to live the life he had. Not once does he think we are weak men.

People that post this shit are delusional.

Ok historical illiteracy is what I come to expect from that sub, but now they’re saying that hoodies are bad??? Now that is something I cannot stand. Hoodies are peak fashion, period.

Hoodies are cool, they’re comfy and fun to wear (except when it’s summer)

Nah, hoodies in the summer are for cool forest nights with friends.

I live in a tropical nation near the equator ok. Summer is especially shitty for my sensitivity to hot temperature, so hoodies are off for a while during the time except summer nights (nights are much colder than days).

Victorian and earlier era Europe was full of men spending fortunes on wigs and hats, quite literally. A hoodie is way cooler than that shit.

If you glorify anything about an era before the invention of electric power, disinfectant, anesthesia, and sewage treatment, then you are objectively wrong
