    Post WWII and even prior, it seemed to work out pretty well for them. Is it really falling for propaganda if you get to hollow out the earth and global south for your benefit?

    There is the old aphorism.about stupidity sufficing as an explanation but the truth is far worse, evil. It’s evil.

      I can at least tolerate these ones that look they were done by a teenager on deviantart circa 2014 or so. The AI thumbnails are far worse.

      “Kool aid” means something along the lines of “lies”. People usually say “drinking the kool aid” which means something along the lines of believing their lies.

        I’ve not researched this piece extensively, but I am remembering now this piece on Jonestown: http://jonestown.sdsu.edu/?page_id=78282#p8

        The narrative associated with Jonestown of people being misguided in their thinking and so “drinking the Kool-Aid” may have been a major distortion. It’s been some time since I read through the article in full. I’ll try to see about re-reading it later, so I’m more clear on that point.
