    Hot take time: fuck socks. They make my feet uncomfortably warm and my feet can’t breath.

      Trust me, look into a 90-95% to 5-10% cotton/synthetic mix, bamboo socks, or silk if you would be willing to pay for them. Those changed my life, I used to hate socks and could never stand the thick, uncomfortable, synthetic, and suffocating nature of standard American shitsocks.

        I’ll have to give that a try, but I’m still the kind of guy who wears sandals close to year round.

          I’m very sorry, I couldn’t resist. But in full honesty there’s nothing wrong with sandals, but I hope my advice can be helpful if you decide to pursue the sock-life : )

            Thanks. If I ever do start liking socks I’ll be sure not to mix them with sandals. I might be white, but I’m not that white.
