I notice myself checking it less and less due to the post sorting algorithm being infuriating. E.g. I’m sorting by “Top 6 Hours” and this post from 7 months ago is in my feed
Edit: and since I’ve now commented on this post, it’ll likely bubble into other people’s feeds and they’ll be just as confused as I was
I have it sort by New Comments, so yes, ha.
Also, I check it every five seconds. But it’s true that there’s not enough content for that to make sense. I feel restless on my phone.
I do too, ever since losing Apollo I’ve struggled to find something to fill that void. Ive tried various social media sites over the last couple of months but nothing has really stuck. Honestly not sure what to do or try at this point
Probably focused breathing and leaving our phones somewhere else for a few hours a day.
Maybe.
I think that’s the nicest way someone has ever said “touch grass” lol. I will agree though, losing access to Reddit made me realize how much mindless scrolling I would do on there. It’s difficult to see all of our comfy corners of the web crumble around us and not know what to do about it
Several times a day.
Same here
Same
Many times a day. It has almost completely replaced Reddit for me.
Got any good community suggestions?
Me too, several times a day. Always something interesting to find.
Not often enough. I need to remind myself that reddit is a ridiculously ⬜ space that is so far from being genuinely understanding of the shit POCs deal with. I actually feel bad for not going on Lemmy as much-- I just wish the site was more popping.
You may set up a random redirect :) For example reddit.com redirects to lemmy.ml every time with probability 1/3. Or redirect with a switch. The last option is easy to set up, there are extensions for this.
How about now?
Evidently not :(
once a week, its all political stuff and not much that’s interesting tbh
How come you don’t post? Try to switch up the content
what would you like to see?
More discussion topics not so much politics. Like relationships, lifestyle, am I the asshole, eli5, things like that. What i see on lemmy is mostly tech and politics. I think that can turn ppl off bc there really isn’t much else to see or engage in
It’s part of my daily “What’s going on in the world?” list of sites.
About once or twice a day.
I try to use it more than Reddit because it makes me feel braindead
First time ever!
Welcome aboard!

Once a day.
Once or twice a day
every few days. More than reddit.
