    I thought they had stopped using those due to their unreliability. I know in scientific studies, the results are conflicting with the general consensus being 78%-90% effective. And note this is just the empirical evidence and can differ widely in real life scenarios.

      i don’t know for sure but cops can do whatever they want to trick you into making a mistake. the thread says the statements made while undergoing polygraph are not admissible but if you say something before or after it it could be. plus you are just giving more info to cops for no reason.

    The only thing you should ever say to cops is “I don’t have anything to state officer, bye”. Even if they ask what you think of the weather.
