I thought they had stopped using those due to their unreliability. I know in scientific studies, the results are conflicting with the general consensus being 78%-90% effective. And note this is just the empirical evidence and can differ widely in real life scenarios.

All require some a form of DRM to unlock either cosmetics, multiplayer modes or extra content. As a person who uses GOG, it is a sad state of affairs that they would choose to have a wide catalog rather than sticking to their original promise of selling games without DRM.

This is just one of the reasons we need open source hardware along with firmware and mobile Linux distributions for phones, now more than ever.

A bit unrelated to the post as it deals with sci-hub and not greenelab, whilst not completely ethical as it is essentially piracy, I do find it admirable that they are making information available tp the general public. I do wish alot, if not all, of these scientific papers were made open access legally rather than forcing users to pay ludicrous fees in order to remove their paywall.

People are using clickbait articles to attract more viewers onto their website. It is a sad state of affairs. They capitalize on people’s ever growing fear of China (since the countries these coporations are based upon do not have the best relation with China). It is a sad state of affairs to see how modern day journalism has slowly been removing itself from their ethical roots in favour of more publicity (and revenue considering they charge either a subscription or support themselves by placing ads everywhere on their pages).

I use Pass. It has a ton of extensions and client, as well as being simple to use.

For BitWarden, I believe you can host it through your own server.

I am wondering how long the battery life would be on it and how it would handle kernel level anticheat software.

Yeah, the information seems clear on what the project does. I do alot of work via the command line, so this would seem useful to me. From the looks of it, I don’t think there is anything ovelry complicated with it. I shall test it out before commenting on the final two questions. But overall it seems great!

First time I am hearing of this project. I would love to see how the final products turns out. I’d be keeping an eye on this.
