Cat climbed up on the counter and tried to mess em up.

I want to start an indoor and outdoor garden. Planting season is coming up.

I’m also having decent success germinating some rice.

I’m somewhat regretting my choice to buy pinto and black bean ‘seeds’.

Also I’ve been making trips up into the hills to dig up naturally occurring clay and that sort of thing and carry it down in my big backpack.

Maybe I can try and make some dirt out of that… I already went to home depot to get some garden fertilizer, but I prob need to get some high nitrogen stuff in bulk.

Ngl my first though was “who buys back bean and pinto beans in a seed bag? I can go to Aldi’s and get 2lbs of them for like $2 a bag.”

Also if you are worried about nitrogen then let clover grow in your garden as they are natural nitrogen fixers just don’t let them completely take over after you plant your actual crops.

well supposedly they are ‘heirloom’ and non-gmo… but I prob should have just bought the tiger ones and calypso ones.

I had some regret when I saw and thought about all the pinto and blackbeans in our cabinet…

I’ll try that. I’ll prob buy some more seeds too. Hopefully these are high quality… I’m just germinating the rice from store bought brown rice. How to grow rice in the garden from store-bought brown rice

have the rice germination growing in the smaller container, planted 3 beans and a sugar pea in the egg container. (that’s sitting on a pot pie container)

beans are doing really good! rice isn’t making much progress, might be doing it wrong
