So let me get something straight. In UK, a country that claims to be part of the Free ™, Democratic ™ west, a prime minister can be just appointed, without elections, solely on the base of being the last of the three other candidates. With the other two also being appointed without elections. Am I getting it right?

Class solidarity is very much alive at the top, where skin color or race is not important. Staying in power and giving benefits to the rich is.
And that’s the kicker, isn’t it? Unlike the current day proletariat, the bourgeoisie very much have class solidarity. And despite fighting with each other for control, they will absolutely join up to crush socialist movements
That’s why to a certain degree changing the skin color or gender of the person doing the exploiting is not going to work. Great for women that they can now drone strike kids in the Middle East as well but that’s not going to make the world a better place per se.
