I know of a YT channel, but I’d prefer not YouTube since I don’t have premium. My library (on hoopla) only has State and revolution, Capital, the communist manifesto, and some random Eugene V Debs and WEB Dubois stuff.

You can listen to YouTube videos without ads by downloading them, or through an Invidious instance (e.g. https://yewtu.be), or, if you’re using an Android device, with something like NewPipe. “Socialism for All” has recorded many audiobooks for essential theory and more niche stuff (just ignore his personal streams; he’s a bit of an ultra-leftist).
@dessalines’s GitHub repo has many links to audiobooks as well, as does lemmy.ml’s Audiobook Torrents community
Thanks, yewtu.be works for me, however the links in the audiobook Lemmy group don’t seem to be working.
They’re magnet links, so you’d need to download a torrent client like Transmission. (Downloading torrents also means you’ll be uploading parts of it while doing so, so I’d recommend using a VPN just to be safe)
Ah, is that possible on an iPhone?
Both torrenting and using a VPN should be possible on iOS, although you should probably be careful when torrenting on a device full of proprietary software. (On the other hand, if it’s just audiobooks, it’s entirely possible that it won’t be a problem even if you’re caught doing it.) You could use something like ProtonVPN (free, and Proton has a reasonably good reputation)
If there are audiobooks available on YouTube, I’d recommend downloading them (e.g. through another Invidious instance such as https://invidious.kavin.rocks where downloading is enabled) and listening to them locally, rather than using any proprietary YouTube app. Really, I’d recommend using Invidious (or Piped, or some other privacy-friendly alternative) when using YouTube in general
