Don’t know what to say to this honestly. Modern Russia with its history in the USSR, the devastation of the 90s and its current place in the world is just such a uniquely interesting and weird player.

Even funnier. They will wish you death, justify the torture of Russian POWs, fanatically deny the war crimes of the AFU, even fucking send you photos of killed Russian soldiers with some mocking comment to them or videos of torture of Russian soldiers, not to mention the constant dehumanization of the republics of Donbass or the victims of the 2014 orange revolution (they call people killed in Odessa’s Union House “colorads”).

But if after all of this you call them nazis, they will melt with rage and start spewing racial slurs and death threats, and will call you a nazi. Fucking hypocrites

That’s one of the major differences I see between the “sides”. Even mainstream libs will absolutely cream themselves and cheer at even the thought, let alone real footage, of Russians getting killed or tortured. It’s disturbing how horny these people are for violence, blood and death of their enemies and anyone related to them, even their wifes, children, parents, etc.

Meanwhile, on even the most rabidly Pro-Russian channels, people generally have respect and pity for the dead and an understanding for the horror of their situation. Footage of surrendered UAF isn’t jeered at, but the soldiers are commended for saving their lives.
