So far, every single time I have met a serious Fanta fan I tell them about how Fanta started as a shell company for Coca Cola to sell soda to the Nazis.

So far, every one of them goes ‘Whoah’ and then continues to drink their soda.

This applies to people of all political persuasions, religions, ethnicities and gender orientation.

And what’s the alternative, not buying anything from (West) Germany? People may go without a soda, but those old Nazi companies are still embedded in Europe. And they continue to be shitty just as the rest, Nazi or not.

Selecto Hamood Boualam mentioned, as an Algerian it’s my national duty to appear from thin air and tell you that Hamood Boualam made soft drinks since 1878

If you’ve never had Kofola, don’t even think I’ll be serving you anything else.

I don’t know if this post is about a specific country or just alt-soda in general, but if it’s the latter I’ll add that Sumol (passion fruit flavour) is my favourite.
