I’m a huge fan of jazz rap, music with a calm jazzy tone to it. However, I’m struggling to find new artists. Where is your go to when finding a certain style? And what are your favorite jazzy rappers?

      I just checked out their music and I’d like to say that I really dig their style! It’s really calming and has that jazzy tone to it. Just what I was looking for! They also speak very based stuff. In one of their songs they were talking about women’s rights, abortion, and roe v wade being overturned. They were definitely ahead of their time.

    Alfa Mist is more jazz than rap these days, but he’s definitely worth checking out.

      Just checked out his music and now he’s one of my faves! My favorite song from him is “Energy.” It has a nice smooth, calming tone to it. The singer, Emmavie has a beautiful voice!

      I’ve heard of that rap group. They’re honestly legendary. Just checked out their music and added a few to my playlist. I love their rap style. Your suggestion is just what I needed, thank you comrade!

    Joey Bada$$ is more popular but his 1999 mixtape is amazing

    Clear Soul Forces does some good stuff as well

    From the 90s definitely ATCQ, InI and Guru’s solo stuff. Newer acts, never really found much I could dig. Blu and Jazz Liberators are quite good sometimes I guess, Kendrick doesn’t need recommendation. Nujabes is mandatory for the beats.
