Strangely it has more than a hundred thousand reviews, despite being released today (from early access) and peaking at some 50 thousand concurrent players. Obviously every single user put down a review, nothing to see here.

I must admit I have this game. I used to play SWAT 4 all the way back in the day (long before I was even remotely left) and I picked this up in early access a year or two ago.

Anyway, it is exactly what it looks like. Glorification of the heroic deeds of US law enforcement. If it is any consolation I don’t give my mates any respite from my non-stop ACABing on voice chat, and they seem to agree.

Yeah, I don’t have much against people who enjoy the gameplay. But the whole publicity around this game is decidedly very sus. For reference, Elden Ring today has around 500k reviews, and it’s Elden Ring.

Called it from that awful TGA ad. “Copsuckery: the Game”.

the game is horrible copaganda and the community is exactly what you’d expect. some of the most popular ready or not gameplay videos i’ve seen involve the player exercising extreme brutality to unarmed civilians. the digital civilians will submit willingly and then the player will just go up and pepper spray them, or sometimes just shoot them because that’s funny right?
