Crazy, I recently saw a video about the hell that is getting a China visa in Europe. That’s big, I’m sure it will widen the tiny positive image that China has there, which is one step to de-demonize socialism.
Indeed, this was a great move on China’s part. The more people from the west go and see China the better.

I thought about doing that pre-pandemic when transpacific flights from the US were cheaper than going to Europe, but the $185 USD visa was a real pain.
