Wow what a story…based on the writing style it seems cut and dry that he drowned. Then suddenly the author says he made it to shore, was savegly killed and dismembered and cooked/eaten in a particular way. Yet who was there to see this? Was it the Dutch anthropologist or just exoticisms/racist imagination of the author? What absurdity.
