Does anybody have any sources disproving the Tianenmen Square hoax? My mother keeps repeating disinformation, and I’m trying to correct her. Any sources would be very much appreciated.

Double check the quote in your first link, it’s used saying that there was a massacre bigger than the Tiananmen square

I think it has done its objective. There was no massacre in the square. These are reports from “credible news sources” admitting the propaganda. We can not expect them to be fully positive.

The amount of sources and information that this link contains is sad. It’s necessary and it’s good, but it’s sad that there is this much wrong with the current system. And a lot of people mentioned there are seen as somewhat ‘good’ guys.

I had a read through it. Normally with stuff pointing out American hypocrisy, you’d go ‘haha stupid lib look what your country is doing’, but with this you just cannot joke. The list is just too fucking long and pure evil. I hope I see that sick country burn to the ground in my life. Hate is too nice a word for the feeling you get when reading that stuff.

Can you explain like I’m a smoothbrain? I don’t understand how this disproves anything, it’s just pictures of the event

Cover01 reveals that the tanks did not run over TankMan contrary to the hoax. Cover02 reveals that Chinese Communist Party build a monument of the TAM Square victims which indicates that the Communists did not hide the massacre. mascr001, mascr005, mascr007, mascr011, mascr012, mascr13 shows that Chinese soldiers allow crowds to carry injured citizens into government owned hospitals. An injured citizen can even carry an army helmet. mascr004 reveals that Chinese soldiers did not kill protesters in the TAM Square that night since the protestors can flee the next morning. mascr006 shows that Chinese soldiers allow foreign tourists to witness the aftermath of the false flag massacre in the next morning. mascr015 and mascr017 shows that the Chinese soldiers were not indiscriminately massacreing people in the protest site; the soldiers target specific people and allow people to take photos without fear of death. This implies that the People’s Liberation Army only attack the terrorists and violent rioters within the protests. mascr018 and all other photos in this website archive reveals that the Chinese Communist Party allow citizens to collect evidence of the massacre without fear of death which contradicts Western fake news narrative that the Communists are destroying evidences and mindlessly killing civilians.

I’ve read a lot of various sources on Tiananmen Square, and come to the honest conclusion that the facts will always remain murky- People died, soldiers died, and it’s highly likely the CIA was funnelling money in

Hey just an FYI to everyone, the genzedong mods are banning people for being mean to sinophobes from other Lemmy instances now, so that’s cool. Same reddit bullshit, smaller pond.

I did that, and its because you continue to break rule 3, be respectful to comrades. This isn’t reddit where they let everyone be a dick to each other and make every space miserable. You can either wait out your two day ban, or you can go back to reddit where they let you be shitty to other communists.

Hehe, try not to plz, just report the comments. We want this to have a healthy and welcoming atmosphere for all comrades.

Side point but many years ago on reddit’r r/communism, the atmosphere was so awful and combative that I really didn’t want to meet any of those ppl in person. That’s pretty sad for a movement that needs to be built on comradery and trust.

You’re not going to be banned for it, but try not to… we already have downvotes and reports. It’d be really annoying if this place turned into reddit or chapo where its just endless chains of childish bickering.

some cryptobro from another lemmy doing ‘china bad because wikipedia’ isn’t a comrade, though. if we’re just gonna let those people talk all the shit they want and be nice to them, that’s just liberalism where civility maters more than message. I mean I’ll wait it out, but I’m not sure why we’re supposed to show deference to people who come in with ill intent.

Hi, I’m one of the people you were apparently given a 2 day ban for “being mean” to (you replied “lmao using wikipedia as a source, dumbest fucking cracker” to me). fwiw imo i’m pretty far from being a sinophobe; by default I assume the things they’re accused of in the west are information warfare from the US. i guess you probably wouldn’t object to me linking to wikipedia when i’m posting things you presumably agree with like this comment about the falun gong?
