The facebook moms have infiltrated the DSA.
Demsocs in third world countrys are a lot less memey and more serious then western ones. Here on Brasil our soccdem party is objectvly more leftist then our biggest leftist party, and they have been constantly aways the third most voted party in presidential elections. The thing is, while their planning for the country is a lot better then most partys, our country is just not in an good place for soccdenism right now, an soccdem country needs to be rich, stable, easy to manage, and not be involved on global conflicts to be succesfull. Soccdems work on european countries because of that, but it would never work here on Brasil.

I genuinely do not understand how anyone can still support the DSA.
I mean, yeah, the usual spiel that Harrington was an anti-communist. But I’m talking about more recent things.
Like how they disbanded the BDS committee because of “bad optics”, but it’s okay because they did it “with a heavy heart”.
Or how their members commonly condemn every press release by the International Committee, the only good part of the DSA. “Why aren’t they supporting the US bringing wholesome freedom and democracy to other countries?!?!”
The stupidity of DSA isn’t even comparable, it’s like democratic socialism plus all the dumb parts of America’s progressive liberalism.
