Really sad part is that this is mirroring the stance of several real life communist parties from Europe.
It is what happens when your party becomes so entangled within ideology (though not fully understanding) and not material reality that they cannot support the collapse of the American Empire due to the lack of perfect ideological reflection by not even their own country, but another.
These parties have fallen victim to liberal propaganda, as their stances are fundamentally idealist and rooted in the party members most likely non dialectial academic upbringing in their early years.
