Another Country 1984 (Based on real history, story of Guy Burgess one of the Cambridge Five)

Good bye, Lenin! 2003(Not exactly a leftist movie, but worth watching)

    The basedest film of all, Salt of the Earth 1954. It was made in the USA during Mccarthyism, it was banned as soon as it came out, director was blacklisted, and most actors in it were amateur, they worked as unionized miners. With a backstory like that you know you want to watch it. (it’s on YouTube)
