The funniest part is the map. There were cases where there was footage of Russian troops in the middle of a city, and the mayor officially announcing that they’d lost control.
But then the Ukrainian government said “nuh-uh, fake, we still hold it”, so they changed the map back.
Got any sauce on that one? Would love to read.
Unfortunately, in this case the “source” is the Wikipedia page’s history log. It happens fairly often.
- Someone changes the map to reflect photographic and video evidence, and occasionally the statement from the mayor
- Someone higher classed than them changes it back, citing the Ukrainian government’s claim
