    It’s really ignorant to assume that some occupations aren’t more hazardous than others. All employers and employees should work towards mitigating those hazards, but they do so in priority with immediate and long term health impacts. And with all due respect to OP, skin condition in a coal mine is likely superceded by death, dismemberment and long term respiratory dysfunction. Which good on op for attempting to deal with it herself.
