          I think they moved out of the “let’s have a discussion about banning nazis” phase to the “Really, were the Nazis as bad as everyone thinks they were?” phase.

            They still had that discussion phase in the first place, they had none for Hexbear. Shows their real views very strongly. If they thought they could get away with it, they would’ve never defederated.

        And one of the reasons was hexbear being anti NATO. In what world is being against NATO a bad thing? I’d guess the majority of the world’s populace is not fond of NATO.

        Extremely ironic that the Lemmy dot world instance is hostile to the geopolitical opinions of most of the world. Typical “international community” US foreign policy type shit.
