Hi everyone, in this video I argue that there is still class exploitation under liberal democracy despite people having political equality under it. In my argument, I make a marxist analysis of exploitation in precapitalist and capitalist economies and show that class exploitation under capitalism takes place in a new economic sphere by economic means unlike in precapitalist economies where class exploitation took place in the political sphere by extraeconomic means. This change of the area in which and the means by which class exploitation takes place makes it possible that under capitalism class exploitation remains essentially intact while people have equal political status because political status no longer addresses the area of exploitation.
