I’ve spent a lot of time around people of many different political stripes on the left wing. My brother is a Trotskyist, my wife until recently described herself as an anarchist. At the occasional meeting, I used to say something quite like this when trying to organize a bunch of college students who hated each other into actually doing something once in awhile,
