They should refuse on the basis that the EU has openly declared themselves hostile to and desiring to destroy China and change its system. Whereas China got technology transfers from the west it did so while not holding a USSR type line against the west. How about the west conducts a great opening up and removal of all their sanctions on high Chinese technology like Huawei and then China can talk with them about tech transfers.

If they allow this they are supremely foolish as the west will happily drain them then slam the door shut, use “rules based order” magic to invalidate Chinese patents and go into production themselves while imposing a higher and higher trade blockade on China and anything Chinese.

Because they have no intention of lowering barriers if China complies, it’s just to snatch the tech then slam the door which has been closed to a crack already shut on China entirely once their green energy needs are met.

they should carefully share wrong tech with the EU. stuff that just doesnt work, but it takes months of fiddling to figure out that it’s nonsense.
