    they have been, a lot of game companies have released their games officially in China over the last 5 or so years. They usually have to get localized because most people in China dont speak english and often they have to remove skulls or blood from the game.

      I meant actually incorporating Chinese culture, folklore etc. in the games rather just localising them as an afterthought.

        im sure its an influence/inspiration but i think generally people draw from their own stories and folklore, so if thats what u meant i would guess it wont have a big impact.
