Maybe I was a bit too hard. He is a lukewarm left wing liberal. But he remains a US politician and is therefore opposed to the interests of the working class. He remains a capitalist or at best a reformer. And he both sides Israel committing a genocide.
Can we please stop saying “left wing liberal” or implying in any way whatsoever that such a thing does or could exist? Liberalism is a hard-right ideology down to the core and slapping vacuous identity politics stickers on it to get more votes does not move the needle a nanometer.
