    Why should China be incapable of reaching anything more than one quarter the per capita GDP, with therefore roughly one quarter the living standards

      @kristina @Neptium For PPP isn’t it ⅓?

      Edit: yeah I just checked and it’s about 30%. Apparently the US’s per capita is now 80k? Crazy. Things haven’t improved at all since it was just 60k.
