I would say these 4 goals were more reactive goals from the pandemic recession and the empire’s crumbling sharpening, their sole strategy has been “weaken Russia” but with their lack of proper logic and foresight they panicked when things went downhill, when Russia actually went through with an invasion (praise God) and their economies crumbled under their own sanctions.
Yes, yanking Europe’s leash was always in the strategy, both to weaken Russia from losing customers and to not let their pets get too comfortable being autonomous human societies, but I do not think destroying the European economy wholesale was an original intended goal, more a desperate move to not completely drown.
