This guy has always sounded like a rapist and it says a lot about the country that invaded Afghanistan in the name of “women’s rights” that he has been allowed to spout his ultra misogynistic rhetoric (while running a ponzi scheme on the side) unfettered, with the worst consequence being deplatformed.
He has a lengthy history of abusing women, even on live television. He moved to Romania to avoid getting charged.
There’s guys in my close circle unironically trying to defend him (including my little brother). I don’t know what needs to happen to men in order for them to see that this egghead is not someone you should idolize.

its pretty bad to talk about rape without content warning prior. its a personal crusade of mine of course, im a survivor, and its always rough to participate in political discussions because rape comes up so commonly and obviously nothing is ever done about it so its not even a waste of time, but something completely mentally unhealthy for survivors to take part in. luckily im a bit delirious right now so its fine but i figured it might be something to mention. im usually on hexbear who has stricter rules on this (after i succeeded in my crusade there lol) so its kinda jarring coming here when its down.
a lot of people use us for cheap talk without having any empathy towards people who have been raped. like i just saw a video of some conservative douchebag describing a rape in detail to a couple of socialist rape survivors. a good thing is to give survivors a quick warning, it makes it obvious that the socialists actually give a damn rather than just using us for political ends
i know this is in the context of a thread about someone who is obviously a rapist, but its still a good policy for whenever the word rape comes up. enforcing nsfw tags on potential sexual violence threads can also be a good way to alert people of brain hazards
