This recent Letter to America discourse is so fucked. I completely abhor the idea of news stories and documents being censored and purged but also, I’m not going to praise Bin Laden. Guy was still a monster.
I swear the only reason Americans care at all is because Bin Laden was on TV for years (either him or people talking about him) and in America, TV man = serious opinion. It’s ironic blowback from trying to portray bid laden as the “King of All Terrorism” a decade ago.
It really tells how uninformed the average american is.
