I make my own cat food cause it’s cheaper than store bought and healthier for them. Also my cats live outside in a barn where they hunt rodents and usually don’t need too much extra food anyway. I’m more of a “pets with jobs” sort of person.
They don’t have leashes to begin with. Hell We don’t even put collars on them because they never stay on anyway and are dangerous for cats. We give them free room and board, free food, and free medical treatment which is regular. In return they take care of the rodents
Their bargaining agreements consist of rubbing against my legs and meowing when I go outside until I pet them and talk to them in a really stupid voice. Then they try and trip me constantly as I step around them in my barn until I turn on something loud I’m which case they run away.
I use chicken leg quarters. It’s easy if you have a meat grinder. If you have a blender/food processor you can separate the bones and the meat then put the bones in the blender/processor and blend it up. The bones and marrow have lots of good nutrients and enzymes for them so it’s best to include them. Also I go for zero waste.
