Nicaragua has unilaterally severed diplomatic relations with the Netherlands. The direct cause was the Netherlands’ decision to definitively terminate its financial contribution to the Nicaraguan authorities for the construction of a hospital in Nicaragua, which has been on hold for several years. Cutting diplomatic ties is an exceptional and highly unusual step, and goes against the wishes of the Netherlands.

A few days ago this suddenly popped up out of the blue, thoughts? I think more countries should tell the Dutch to go fuck themselves, if you ask me.

      I think he’s been fuckin great for the poorest sectors of the country since taking over again, but I don’t have complete faith that him or the current leadership of the party can take the country in the best direction. But he’s a Marxist revolutionary, so he’ll hit the nail every now and then.
