Interesting. Wonder why they’re not as common as drones (in terms of how many armies use them, not quantities of drones vs. tanks – obviously, drones are much cheaper)
From what I understand there’s an issue of control. An aerial drone is easier to keep in contact with the operator, whereas a ground drone could get blocked by walls. There’s also the matter of purpose - a UAV could be used for reconnaissance and for extrajudical assassination. A ground drone could be used for clearing up minefields (there’s one such version of Uran AFAIK). I don’t have information on how useful they are in combat, given the efficiency of modern anti-tank weapons.
