So I was thinking the other day about how we have this platform with a decent amount of contributors and if there are ways to set up an international collaboration. Lots of people over here are member of some sort of organization, some bigger than others. There must be ways in which we can help eachother, right?
It would be nice to have a thread or something dedicated to ways of helping eachother.
That would be super wholesome :) and I would be super down!
What kind of help would you have in mind? I think sharing books and whatnot would be pretty neat, but of course, security concerns exist. Maybe clothes? Tea?
Money is a good one, but I would just be hard to verify certain things over the internet.
A book thing was one of the first things that came to mind. For people on here but maybe also for people in places without access. Clothes is a cool idea too, same as food maybe.
But also, how can our parties help eachother in our common goal?
Money might be harder to do, although there are options.
All this takes a good amount of planning though. That’s why maybe a megathread or something might help.
I’ve thought ab making some sort of social media platform specifically for organizers where we can share experience with newbies and learn from veterans. Write articles, and find ways to help each other out. But I always think ab security and safety and privacy… kind of difficult topics to handle, but I’m not an expert on that topic.
