I want to know what you all think of the idea if preparing for some kind of disaster is, as the likelihood only increases as time goes on and capitalism survives. Shit will hit the fan, at least where I am. Thoughts?

I want to. Learn how to shoot, do basic first aid, grow my own food, just general self-sufficiency skills. It’d be nice to curb my technology reliance too. Kind of want to prep a bug out bag but it seems pretty expensive.

I’m trying to stock up on technology.

Like what? For me the tech reliance thing is mostly about not getting absolutely fucked without power or internet

get a 4k oled in 2024 when the prices drop a ton… I’m aiming for $300 or less for a 40 inch. also you can get some sick deals on xeon CPUs and motherboards from aliexpress… if u want one I found I can send you… but I’m just waiting until I get the 4k oled. been thinking about this a lot.

u might not want to have a ton in liquidity if there is going to be a massive economic collapse involving climate change and late stage capitalism btw. I’m trying to buy a little useful/interesting thing on a somewhat regular basis.

Me too. I definitely need to brush up on understanding of guns and self-sufficiency skills. I’m also pretty reliant on tech.

I’ve started some storage of long-lasting freeze dried food and a good first aid kit. Alot of it is very expensive unfortunately :/
