    One thing it is good for is if you’re outside. I find dark mode much harder to read when the screen is in the sun.

    Which is why there are apps that let you dynamically switch between light and dark mode depending on the ambient light levels.

      While that is fair I’d argue if I’m outside I’m doing outsiding stuff and trying to avoid messing about on my phone in general. If I’m on my phone wasting time I’m probably inside where there’s less light in general. So things that don’t switch automatically I just default to dark mode.
