China and Russia veto new UN sanctions on North Korea for first time since 2006

Russia and China on Thursday vetoed a US-drafted United Nations Security Council resolution to strengthen sanctions on North Korea in a vote the US ambassador to the UN called dangerous, disappointing and likely to fuel Pyongyang's program to develop nuclear-capable missile systems.

The UN Security Council, under pressure from the west, was about to slap the DPRK with even more sanctions. And this during a Covid outbreak, completely heartless! But the imperialists didnt count on internationalist solidarity! Russia and China, despite the deranged cries of the imperialists (“muh dictatorships and nukes”), vetoed the sanctions package. Yes!

    Yeah that was my fear with Biden too. I’m glad he’s even less competent than I thought, I figured that ghouls behind the scenes would do all the work for him but honestly the entire capitalist hegemony seems to have filtered through its own logic enough that its ranks and populated with complete fucking idiots, bratty sociopaths and the mindlessly greedy, all the product of old money and nepotism who have never done a real day’s work and have enjoyed a system that could propagate itself for some time without much input. The system is out of their hands, and at this point the system, much like Biden and Trump and all of these ghouls, is sundowning. Let’s hope that EKG goes flat before the new guard can take over.
