It’s possible. Alito, in the leaked opinion, states that the reasoning behind striking down Roe does not apply to other recently recognized rights (that goes all the way back to interracial marriage laws). But some arch-conservative’s like my own Senator (Indiana’s) Mike Braun would take you back to the original ruling on interracial marriage being unconstitutional.

IMO the reasoning he uses applies to all the rights derived in similar fashion by the court, and the weak attempt to restrict to abortion is not that persuasive. Gay marriage, contraception access etc are all in jeopardy.

I think most french revolutionaries would disagree, not out of contempt for revolutionary violence (which we would like to do without but is impossible) but because the guillotine is a deadly abstraction which represents absolute cruel State power that can fall on anyone. You may be interested in reading this article about how the guillotine emerged and evolved as a symbol, and why the Paris Commune burned the guillotine.

Well, it won’t be nationwide. They’ll return these issues to the states. So liberal states, or states with strong liberal majorities, will likely not be impacted as they’ll be able to use whatever laws they had prior to Roe, or invent new ones with relative ease. But for people (like me) in deep red states, it will open the way for an absolute prohibition on abortion.

Not really, its a 5-4 republican majority on the court, they can push through any reactionary bullshit they want until one of them dies. Buckle up because this is just the beginning.

I hate to say this, but could biden stop this? I don’t have any confidence whatsoever they would, but he does have the power to.

Biden’s only option would be to whip up legislation that would codify Roe as the law of the land (as he and Obama both promised to do). I would say that’s unlikely to happen, especially because it couldn’t pass the Senate. So people in blue states will likely continue as if nothing has happened and people in red states will see abortion prohibited or access greatly reduced.

I heard that he could also make a move to overrule or block it

Not that I know of - they could file an injunction I suppose to buy time, but that would only delay the inevitable.
