Student going into academia/medical field.

If/when my friends find out my political views, they usually think that I’m joking or just uneducated. A reaction that I tend to get is “:O But don’t you know that communism is evil and doesn’t work?!” Most people genuinely know very little about communism so I do my best to educate those around me but it’s pretty difficult sometimes.
